What an insane greedy powerful monster,

The figure of The Michaung made,

As it swept through Chennai with glee,

Causing more terrified people to flee,

Devouring and relishing,

The devastating death of people,

Ruining homes of helpless victims,

It tightened its drowning embrace of death,

And pounced on its fleeing prey,

Forcing people to wade through,

Murky waters that increased with tears,

Holding memories of ruined lives,

Shall I be alone…In saying,

There never was a more vicious devil-like,

The Michaung Cyclone!
